Product Details:
The Lake Country CCS White Polishing Pad will help you remove light imperfections and finish the paint down for a spectacular shine! This pad is very soft but still has enough polishing power to work great with fine or light polishes removing very fine swirls, oxidation, etc. We often recommend this pad with light polishes but it also works great with AIO, glazes, paint cleaners, etc. The secret is in the unique urethane foam formulation this pad, and all other Lake Country pads are comprised of. This foam enhances polishing results and extends durability, so you know each and every pad meets your high quality demands. With the Lake Country White Pad, we recommend using light polishes for the best results. Did you notice the dimples on the pad in the product photo? Those dimples are from the CCS technology that makes these pads totally unique!
Traditional foam pads tend to absorb polish too quickly, reducing performance because the polish is trapped below the face of the pad. The CCS Technology solves this problem with partially closed foam cells, or dimples on the face of the pad. These pockets capture and gradually release polish as needed during the polishing process. This feature tends to reduce surface tension, pad skipping, and heat generation with less surface area on the face of the pad being in contact with the painted surface. Less surface area means less friction, which in turn increases polishing performance! All Lake Country CCS Pads are made from the same exact foam as the flat versions, which means no confusion on which color will perform which polishing job.
For a 5.5 inch pad, we recommend a 5 inch backing plate.
